```Job Summary```
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team, must be a CPA or EA. We focus on a limited subset of tax strategies, including cost segregation, R&D tax credits, and others. Previous exoerience in these areas a benefit.
As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations, instrucitng other tax professional on how to apply the credits or benefits to the return, and providing tax planning advice to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial concepts and accounting software, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
```Duties```
- Prepare and review strategy deliverables
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Provide tax planning advice to clients
- Assist with tax audits and respond to tax authorities' inquiries
- Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information
- Identify opportunities for tax savings or process improvements
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- JD, CPA or EA certification required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks
- Understanding of financial concepts and principles
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
